I am putting together bunches of pages like this into funky fun journals and will be selling them on my Etsy shop as soon as I get it launched.

random friday

Oops...Friday nearly slipped away. Last weekend I was bowling in Nationals in Syracuse, NY with my daughter. It's an annual thing we do together and we always have way too much fun. I didn't bowl too well but had a good time anyway.
I have been busy working on my journals and finishing up some of my old altered art books. I am hoping to take some photo's this weekend and will post them next week.

I traveled to Annapolis last weekend for the Annapolis Quilt Guilds show.

Quick!

While it is still Friday.

I went to my new dermotologist today and he informed me that he is a surgeon. Well my PCM sent me to him so just check my skin and let me go.

I guess he felt the need to take a chunk out of me so he jabbed me with a needle and punched out a mole that formed just last week. Now I have to go back and have the stitch taken out. It never ends.

I have been able to work in the studio a bit more now that the builder came out and balanced the air system in the house....that equals more art to show. I've been working on some journals to sell and my floral quilt.

Bag for a writer.

I made this bag for a writer friend of mine. We have been friends since we were teens. We both moved around a bit and we even lived in upstate New York at the same time. We had lost track of each other for the last 6 years.

She didn't know I had moved to Oklahoma and she sent me a Christmas card last year. I received it in pretty bad shape...it had done a bit of traveling before finally getting to me.

I looked at the return address and was shocked to see that she was living a stones throw from where I live now.

We are having a good time catching up with each other....what a small world!

wild and crazy

I have been enjoying the beach...but now it's tourist season and it's getting hot already. So I will stay in and make art. I am in the quilting mode and I am making a pretty garden quilt.

I am loving these boots!
They are sooo me.

I used to get sent to the office in school for wearing wild clothes.

I didn't get into trouble at home because my Mom made my clothes.
I have not changed....still wild and crazy.
