When I bought this metal star it was a medium shade of green. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. I put a layer of joint compound on it to add texture.Then I painted it two shades of beige/off white. I knew I wanted to put vines on it but couldn't get the real (honeysuckle) vines to cooperate. I found some faux vines made of wire and wrapped them around the star.
At Christmas I put the twig with berries on and decided I really liked them there and kept them.
They say stars bring you good luck, so it hangs in my living room.
