Beads

Well, I pushed a wrong button and published my "Good Morning" and nothing else. Bear with me - I am no computer wiz, but promise to get better with time.

Today I will be making some paper beads. They are pretty cool. When they are finished they look like glass and metal.

The instructions for them is in the July/August issue of Cloth Paper Scissors magazine. They made theirs chunky, but I make mine skinnier using a less messy technique. Instead of using a gel medium I use my Xyron 150 sticker maker. The strips of paper are one inch wide and if you want them smaller you can cut them in half.

Warning: They are addictive (like chips) you can't make just one.

Welcome to blogger land. It will get easier! I love these beads! It would be fun to keep them in a bowl to play with (like polished rocks). The paint chips are by Dutch Boy, it's the Crayola line. LOTS of fun colors.

Whow you do have a box of beads. I saw this in that issues and sure wanted to give it a try. Actually, I have wanted to try these for a long time. Never enough time in the day. But you have inspired me and maybe I will find the time.
