...and the back...
I used some Tim Holtz hardware to secure the closing.
...the inside...
When making your own stuff you can personalize. I don't always wear my medical ID as I should so I put the info in other places instead. I used rubber stamps with Staz-On ink. Of course my selvage edges were put to use again. I just love them.
One last thing to show is my first crop of string beans. In my family I am known as the string bean queen. Loved them since I was knee high to a string bean. So this year I took one of my flower gardens and made it a little bean garden. They were yum-o in the words of Rachel Ray.
I like picking them when they are small and tender...nothing better!
Have a great week!

My goodness that wallet is wonderful! I need a new one bad but I'm not much of a seamstress. I am on the hunt for aomething funky so we'll see. Great job!
Very smart wallet. I love string beans too. Well I love any kind of bean.
The wallet is great. Love the selvages. Yum, I'm a green bean queen, also.
Great wallet......refresh and create during your time away from blogging. I will miss you, for sure. Oh, almost forgot, my sister has called me Bean for over 20 years. Even her children have called me Auntie Bean. Not because I eat green beans, although I do love them. Not because I am skinny like a string bean...lord were that true....but instead because of a dress that I wore over and over back in the 80's that had little paisley 'beans' on it and that is what she called it. My Bean Dress........and then she just began calling me Bean. I can even hear her voice in my head right now as I type this. "Hey, Bean"...she's pretty funny.
