Here it is...my solution for hiding the gray when you can't use color any more....a cute hat. I couldn't pass up these beautiful pink azaleas and DH threw me in front of the camera and shot this photo. Well, it works for me because most of the gray is in my bangs.
My birthday is in a few weeks and I keep sliding closer to the big....no, HUGE 6-0, so I need to face reality and just get over it. No one said it was easy......sigh!
Today is a real mess weather wise and I am loving it. The wind sounds like a hurricane and the rain is flying in every direction. The cats told me to close the back door...it was raining in. It's such a good day for sewing and baking...and napping...and reading the new issues of Cloth Paper Scissors and Where Women Create. I have some class work to get done and then I will see where my mood takes me. Hope you are also having a great day!

Ohhh, I love weather like that. Relax, enjoy your magazines and ride out the storm.
I have always loved hats, the ladies in my family wore hats and gloves to church every week, me included.
Do you remember Ali McGraw's yarn hat from Love Story? I made several of them and wore them all the time.
don't worry about the grey!! I have given up on coloring also because it is such a pain, and never looks quite right unless you pay $100 at the salon.
And I am only 53! you have better things to do with your time!
You are so cute.
Thanks!
Hello, I just had to stop by and comment, did you say your nearly 6-0???....I wish I looked as young as you!...you llok great...love your rose photo that looks like you did hours of digital photshop or something to get it that way...lovely...xx
You are absolutely adorable...youthful and adorable. Your face shows a great spirit...and hat is perfect on you!
Remember.....it's just a number!
Suze... I can't believe you're approaching the big 6-0. You look younger than me! I'll be 5-6 in August. You wear the hat with style and grace! Carry on Sister! You always make me smile. xoxox
