Sharon at All Norah'S Art put out a challenge for this weekend called Leverage your art. To take a piece of art you've made and make it new again. So I took this painting that I posted earlier this week and.....
turned it a blue tint and put it on fabric and made this piece with it.

What a great transformation! The original is so lovely, and I love the way the mood changes when it's monochromatic. It's like she's hopeful in the first and lonely in the second.
I think I have been an artist since I first picked up a crayon many years ago.I love to create and I love all mediums of the art world.
Right now mixed or multi media artist fits the bill.
I am a fabriholic...I got it from my Mom. One of my favorite sayings is "every day that I buy fabric is a good day."
At any given time I can be found painting, collaging, sewing art quilts or dolls...creating with stained glass or rusty odds and ends I have found in the street.

Lovely!
Cool beans! You did better than I. I just funked up an old watercolor painting from the past. But my daughter's happy with it! Happy Monday!
Way to go!
Wasn't that fun and didn't is get you thinking ....what next?
I love what you did.
