I love, love, love these! The color is just happy!!
About the Obitsu doll you commented about on my blog ~ First of all, let me warn you, ball jointed dolls are an easy obsession. So be prepared!! Second, I got mine at a company called junk spot in California. online. Emory is wonderful to deal with and fast to ship. Olivia is a 27 cm. and she is the small bust body. I am not into the over exaggerated bust bjd's. creeps me out. I ordered two heads....without hair and made my own wig, but you can order them with hair. Then you have to paint their face. BUT, you can find them already done. Especially on ebay. Just type in Obitsu, or bjd. There are also people who you can commission to do the face and hair and even clothes. Soon you will see my newest doll which is a 43 cm. sprite. I decided not to do her face myself because I have so many projects going, so I shipped her head (and eyes as they are ot painted on this size but acrylic or glass eyes) to a gal in Colorado. I WILL be making a outfit for her...and possibly her own blog...yes, I am now certifiably nuts. That is why I am warning you before you start.
Suze, those are some sweet, sweet shoes. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner to your comment, but I wanted to write you about it. It's hard to know what to say. My jaw was dropped the whole time. I just can't believe what you have been through, and I really admire your strength and it makes the bright, colorful person that you are seem all the more---I don't know what the word is---I'll use AMAZING! You deserve your DH and I wish you the best---thanks for sharing!
I think I have been an artist since I first picked up a crayon many years ago.I love to create and I love all mediums of the art world.
Right now mixed or multi media artist fits the bill.
I am a fabriholic...I got it from my Mom. One of my favorite sayings is "every day that I buy fabric is a good day."
At any given time I can be found painting, collaging, sewing art quilts or dolls...creating with stained glass or rusty odds and ends I have found in the street.
