studio sunday

Yesterday, we ventured out to the Art show in a nearby town. It was darn right chilly and of course it was windy! We watched these artists paint murals on the side of a building.
And I got this! I love stained glass and morning glories and hummers! (the birds) The hummingbirds are beveled glass and if you click on the picture to make it larger you can see the leaves are college-like with green flecks of glass within the glass. It's my Mother's day gift from DH. It's mounted inside an old window frame but can also be removed and used as two piece's of art. Love it!

My, but the stained glass is beautiful. It makes me think of my Grandmother. She loved Morning Glories. What a lovely gift.

I was just reading on Norah's blog where you can't touch roses since you had a transplant. I am sorry you can't touch the flowers, so happy you got a transplant, pleased for you that you get your flower-fix through fabric...

Gorgeous...........you must come by and see MY hummer in the stained glass by my front door.......I can't remember now what month it is but I think it's the past few months.

It brings me such joy as I know yours will

Morning glories are one of my favorites too. I have them in two rooms and in the garden palace too and in a stained glass window that I did.
Love yours.
