This hawk was on my fence last week and the Eastern Phoebe's were swooping at him trying to chase him off but he wouldn't budge. I like that it came out as a silhouette.
Suze, thanks for visiting my site. I have been visiting your site and admiring your work for quite a while, so I consider it an honor that you would leave such kind comments about my cupcake painting. I always notice your Chevy because my father has a 57 Chevy (aqua and white) that he got brand new. Unfortunately, it is not in the same beautiful condition as your Chevy. Maybe one day... Thanks again! Carol B.
I think I have been an artist since I first picked up a crayon many years ago.I love to create and I love all mediums of the art world.
Right now mixed or multi media artist fits the bill.
I am a fabriholic...I got it from my Mom. One of my favorite sayings is "every day that I buy fabric is a good day."
At any given time I can be found painting, collaging, sewing art quilts or dolls...creating with stained glass or rusty odds and ends I have found in the street.

Your hawk is a stencil waiting to happen.
Great photo. I have an elusive Pileated Woodpecker that I am trying to get a picture of. Glad you were able to get your shot. Have a great day.
Great photo of the Hawk...I am sure it will work its way into your art somehow.
