still stormy

Here it is Tuesday...still stormy and rain is expected for the rest of the week. Now I love a rainy day as much as the next guy, but if this is what Seattle is like......I don't think I could handle it.

I found this great create mug when I was back in Maryland. It looks all hand formed and kind of whack-a-do and the word is stamped into it. That's part of it's charm. But not so good for drinking from so I put my brushes in it.

A friend gave me a back issue of Artful Blogging magazine. After reading it, I had a good time making inchies from the pages.

It's dreary here too. Yuck! But I did manage to gut a ton watch cases for my pendants. :) Please stop by my blog and enter my drawing to win a pendant and collage packet. All are welcome. Just click my link and find the post and details. Thanks!

"inchies"...that would be great for an art journal, or something.

We still have rain and flooding also.

Your new banner is eye catching and very pretty.

To answer your question you left on my blog the Quilt Sampler I go to is in Tulsa. They have another store in Springfield, MO that I have only visited online.

Hope you get some sun shine soon!

:D Rainy days stink if you have to go out, but rainy nights are great :) Throw open the window and let the sound put you to sleep. That's what i do :)

OMG! I have been following your blog for awhile now...but just this morning I read your profile and am estatic! You see, I have just moved to Severna Park, MD all the way from Kansas! I had never left home...I feel like a fish out of water here, but must say, I love all of the beauty that the East Coast has to offer! I am seeking art events, art friends and connections in the area and was hoping that possibly you could help? Do you live nearby? Do you have any input on how I may become involved in some creative groups? I enjoy your blog so much! Any advice will be much appreciated! Thank you so much! ~Missy in Maryland!

I love your new banner! It's very pretty. The cup is fab...I'd have to have it, too, if I saw it sitting in a shop.

Good job on the inchies. What will you do with them?
