Saturday night we went to see Carousel at Rose State College. It was in concert format not an actual play. They didn't advertise it as this but in the back of my mind I had a feeling. Well...it blew us away! I just can not explain how fabulous it was.We sat in the second row and Shirley Jones sang just a few feet right in front of us. It was cool because you could hear them singing without the use of amplification.
Shirley is 74 years old and still going strong.

You are so lucky to have seen Shirley in person. She has always been a favorite of mine.
What a wonderful Saturday night you had! I am sure that was just amazing. She is still singing strong at 74 -Wow! And still looks great!
