I would like to thank everyone for their Anniversary wishes.
Saturday I attended a Sweet 16 tea party. It was great fun. Everyone was dressed to the nines. I forgot to wear my big hat.
We ate chicken salad sandwiches with potato soup served in antique tea cups. Raspberry parfaits followed and of course birthday CAKE!

...and a new book to my list.Our quilt guild is having a self portrait challenge. Your portrait and what inspires you. Then they will be displayed at our next quilt show. I have an idea what I intend to make but that could change.
This bool looks interesting tho.

Oh, my...I just got this book last week and I'm half way through it. This is by far my most favorite kind of art-the self portrait. What can be more interesting than one's self? There are so many different ideas as to how to create these works of art. I'm literally itching to get started!
