It's time again for me to take a little blogging break....
I'll be back before you know it.
You won't even know I'm gone.
buh bye!

I am not finished with this piece yet but sent it in anyway because the class is ending, and it's up on the featured art for the week board....I am thrilled!
I am happy with the background on this one but not so much with her face.
As I was having breakfast on Saturday, the sun was shining on my roses just so and I jumped up to get the trusty camera. I love how it turned out.
Here is my latest homework portrait. She was a lot of fun to create. Her hat is constructed of paper napkins and collage pauge. The background is also napkins and modeling paste.
The quilt guild met last night and we learned a bit about fractured quilts. No it's not a blurry photo...it was made that way.
Have an aRtFuL weekend!
I thought this was interesting with the textured glass shining through the shade. I love stained glass!
...they think I am....
...top shelf diva's...
...and of course...you know who traded in her party hat for a crown.
I can't believe it's been two years. I am blogging very early as I have a busy day and I am teaching this class tonight. This class being this angel doll.
I made some special Barefoot Contessa cupcakes. I found out the hard way that a muffin paper is not the same as a cupcake paper..oops! Anyway it's going to be a fun class.
Studio photo one...I did tell you that these were random shots?
I'll show some of those tomorrow...some have to wait. But today I will show a package that I completely covered with paper.
There wasn't much left of this poor book but it sure sparked me. Oh, and there is a line of fabric out now with the Golden books prints.
This is a gift from an artful friend of mine. I love it and use it daily. She has been MIA this summer and I hope to see her soon.
So after all of this commotion, I could not get back to sleep. But then I got to see the pretty purple sunrise.
Here are the 40 plus boxes in their new home. It's an old Yankee candle cabinet I picked up for a song when a local card store went out of business. It is perfect for them. I even put them in alphabetical order. Look out it may snow!
