But first...
Here is my latest homework portrait. She was a lot of fun to create. Her hat is constructed of paper napkins and collage pauge. The background is also napkins and modeling paste.
The quilt guild met last night and we learned a bit about fractured quilts. No it's not a blurry photo...it was made that way.
Here is a closer look. I saw it from across the room and thought...I don't think so. I have bad eyes and making a quilt like this would put me over the edge. It's interesting and different and I like that in a quilt, but this technique is not going on my to-do list.
Now for the winner of my art angel doll...the one celebrating my two years of blogging....and it's
Susan
from a walk in the park.
Congrats!!
She'll be flying on her way to Virginia.
DH pulled her name from the hat last night.
Have an aRtFuL weekend!

Oh Yay! Thank you so much, I am super excited. You're the best! Susan
Sorry, I got so excited when I saw my name that I forgot my comment. The fractured quilt is quite interesting, but I'm with you in that it looks a little too fractured for these bifocals to deal with. But a really interesting idea. BTW thanks again!
Congrats Susan!
