Well, ready or not here she is.
I went through a lot of... like her ...don't like her...but now I am happy with her. I know her eyes are off kilter a bit. I didn't notice until it was too late to fix.
I added a rustied seven to add some interest. The hard part for me was the shabby part. I was apprehensive putting the modeling paste on her face...but I did. I mostly used sandpaper to "shabby" it. I know when she critiques it ....it won't be drippy enough. I had a bigger problem with dripping ink on her face.I will make the next one shabbier!
I am teaching a class at Paper Crown tomorrow so I must go and gather my supplies and get ready.Have a creative day!

Oh she is so good. I don't know what you mean about "shabby" it but she is great. Oh yes, my girls eyes never match up or line up and that's ok with me usually.

Perhaps your reluctance to "shabby" her is because that's not part of your current style. I always like that look on someone else's work but seldom on my own art. Maybe you will be more into it on something else that calls for that technique. If you aren't "feeling" it on the piece you are working on, don't feel compelled to do it. I'm sure that SuziBlu would be the first to say to do what feels right for you.

How wonderful! I'm glad that you didn't drip paint over her face. I cringed when I saw Suzi do it. You are doing so well with this class!
